Erica’s interest in wholesome ingredients and healthy nutrition began with her own health journey. After suffering from health issues for years, she had finally had enough. Erica began making small changes in her diet and everyday activities and noticed a huge benefit to her health. Suddenly, she had more energy, was in a better mood, and didn’t feel so tired all the time!
As she was continuing along her own journey, her mom tragically passed away. Erica became the proud owner of the 2 doggos that her mom had adopted. Like Erica, these pups were grieving the loss of their mom. Wanting to do everything she could to help them, Erica began with the simple changes that had already helped improve her own life - a healthy diet.
The difference was astounding. Simple changes to healthy ingredients and an emphasis on reducing chemicals helped bring her pups out of their depression and into a whole new way of life. Thus, Erica’s Healthy Pet was born. From then on, she knew it was her mission to help other fur babies live their best and healthiest life.

Benji’s Review! - 5/5 Wags
Benji is an absolute cheese FIEND, so we knew we had to give the Cheesy Bites a try. Unsurprisingly, he is OBSESSED. Upon delivery, the packaging Erica used was absolutely adorable. Just in time for St. Patty’s day, she wrote Benji a cute little note on a card with a bulldog in a leprechaun suit. Erica even spoiled Benji a little bit more with an adorable “Kiss Me” stuffed green bone. Her attention to detail and love for what she does was so evident in every aspect of the package.
As a Dog Mom, I also felt great knowing exactly what I was giving Benji as a treat. The ingredients are clearly labeled, and I actually recognize all of them! The squares were bite sized, gluten-free and high in calcium, protein, vitamin D and potassium. It was absolutely perfect to use to work on a few tricks we’ve been teaching Benji. The bag was also resealable and came in a stand-up pouch, which makes storing it significantly easier.
Overall, Benji and I both give Erica’s Healthy Pet 5/5 wags. From her amazing customer service to her delicious doggo treats, her business and cause is one we will continue to support!
